SAFE Silent Auction

The Florida Aquarium, ZooTampa at Lowry Park, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay are honored to host the 2025 Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Annual Conference, September 13 – 18, in Tampa, Florida.

We are also excited to spearhead the Saving Animals from Extinction (SAFE) Silent Auction which supports AZA’s conservation grants programs. SAFE focuses the collective expertise within AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums and leverages our massive audiences to save species. We are getting close to reaching our goal of raising $10 million for SAFE by 2029, and we need your help to make this happen!

Please help us reach our goals and help save the most vulnerable wildlife species from extinction by donating a unique or specialty auction item highlighting your facility, programs, or partners you support. Share this invitation with your own staff, volunteers, and board members to encourage them to make a personal item donation to the auction. Items will be bid on by attendees during the AZA Annual Conference in Tampa.

Your donation will have a direct impact on the important work conducted by your staff and colleagues and will help support more than 50 SAFE species programs across the globe!

Bid on Items at the Conference!

Bidding on Silent Auction items will happen online. The physical items will be on display in the Exhibit Hall, but you will place your bid using an online platform. Bidding goes live on Tuesday, September 16 at 9:00 am EST and ends on Wednesday, September 17 at 7:00 pm EST.
